Tom Haymes

Tom Haymes is Innovator in Residence and Innovation Strategist for Arizona State University’s ShapingEDU Project and consults with several other colleges and universities on Technology Assessment, Space Design, Professional Development, Digital Communications, Curriculum Design, and Digital Futuring. Over the course of 40 years of technology experience, he has been Technology Director for a college of 20,000 students, a teacher, and manager of interdisciplinary innovation teams ranging from fully digital platforms to campus design. Most notably, he led the college design team for the West Houston Institute, a SXSW learning space innovation award finalist project for a Texas community college. He has written widely on topics ranging from technology adoption to military history and is an award-winning photographer.
